When is the next CosXPo?CosXPo is on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April 2023. Doors will open at 11AM and close at 6PM each day.

When is the VIP Party?The VIP party will be on Saturday 1st April 2023, starting from 6PM onwards. The main party will be in Mojo's Bar, but we'll also have a chill room with board games in Mondial.

Are carer tickets available?Guests can obtain one free carer's ticket upon arrival when providing proof of disability. For proof of disability please bring ONE of the following forms of documentation: Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book. Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) A valid Blue Badge In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card Credibility's Access Card

Can I bring my pet?The venue has a strict no pet policy, however licensed service dogs are welcome.

How can I get to the venue?Here you can find information around parking, train and bus links.

How accessible is the venue?The venue is equipped with ramps and lifts for wheelchair users. It also has accessible and gender-neutral toilets. Low-level bar service counters are located at Mojos Bar. Blue badge holders can park in the allocated spaces in: Car Park 4 Whiteknights a large scenic campus, with parkland and a lake where the majority of our courses are taught. Although it is mostly level with gentle slopes, wheelchair users are advised to use a power assisted chair. If you require assistance on the day please email info@cosxpo.com or notify a member of the CosXPo team on the day.

Are there changing rooms?A changing area will be provided on the second floor of 3Sixty. Please respect others using the area. No bags are allowed to be left in the changing rooms. Accessible toilets are also available around the venue.

Is there a cloakroom?A cloakroom is available upstairs on the second floor of 3sixty. A small fee of £1 per item is charged to store bags, coats and other belongings.

Where can I get food and drink?Hot food and snacks can be purchased at Mojos bar throughout the day. A Starbucks can be found outside near the main entrance to 3sixty. Within the 3sixty building you will also find other shops and cafes - though their opening times may vary: https://www.rusu.co.uk/your-union/shops-and-services/. Across from 3sixty is a Co-op supermarket open until 10PM every day.

How do I book on to workshops/demos?Our hands-on workshops and demos work on a first come, first serve basis so make sure you arrive 5-10 minutes beforehand to join the queue. Those with VIP tickets will have priority entry.

How many people can be in a workshop?This depends on the mentor running the workshop, materials needed and space but generally we aim for around 20 people per workshop.

What is your costume and weapons policy?The maximum dimension in any direction must not exceed 2 metres. This excludes any parts (e.g. wings) that can be collapsed to a smaller size. In this case the item is to be kept collapsed when traversing through the convention floor. If your costume exceeds this, please email cosplay@cosxpo.com for inquiries. Any costumes or prop that exceeds 2 metres must have a dedicated handler with them at all times. Fully functional firearms are not permitted, replica guns (including airsoft guns, bb guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns) are forbidden without a brightly coloured safety tip. Any Realistic Imitation Firearms are only allowed to be uncovered inside the venue. Any ammunition for these firearms is strictly forbidden. This includes all projectile weapons such as bows and crossbows. All weapons and props must have rounded or blunt edges and/or padded ends and must be incapable of causing harm. Outside of the venue, all attendees must conceal their props or weapons in covered cases or bags. Costumes should provide enough body coverage to be worn in public and not violate the laws of public indecency in the United Kingdom. Is there a rehearsal for the cosplay competitions?There will be a rehearsal for ECG on Saturday 1st April at 6PM. It isn't mandatory to attend but is a great opportunity to practice your routine on stage with correct lighting and sound.
